Hi! My name is Marley and I’m a one and a half year old yellow-sided green cheek conure.
I LOVE to play and bounce and explore! I especially love to be around people and will bounce along with anyone. I dislike being alone and will sometimes scream if I get too lonely, but my foster family says this behavior is getting better with time. I'm most happy just being on someone’s shoulder and love to snuggle and get my head scratched. I’m a little timid and nippy at times, but I’m sweet and very affectionate once you get to know me. Though I have a slight preference for females, I’ll happily be with anyone who will give me attention. I can say a few words, such as ‘water’ and ‘drink’ and I like to bathe under the sink faucet. I even make little purring chirp noises when I’m happy or eating my favorite foods!
I can be a little picky, but my favorite treats are almonds, grapes, corn, and apples. I don’t like seeds though, only my tasty pellets and a little millet every once in a while. I'm still very young and have a lot of love to give. Please come meet me and let's see if I can go home with you!

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird's cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
