Tripp's Story...
Tripp's story is one of LUCK...his good luck that he was taken to the right vet when he got sick as a puppy. Because when the owner learned that he had parvo she instructed the vet to euthanize him rather than to treat. Being reluctant to do this, the vet asked for him to be given to her and then treated him.

Not only did he survive parvo...he is thriving. This wonderful boy has such a happy personality. He loves other dogs, loves to play and is on the submissive side. That would make him a great brother; if you've been looking to add to your canine family.

Currently Tripp is being fostered in VA. He is current on all vaccines and is ready to find his forever home. This could be your LUCKY break to have found this very sweet and loving boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tripp, a Mount Holly Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Mount Holly, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Mount Holly.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Holly already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Holly breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Holly paves the way for another one to be saved.
