Malibu is a one-year-old brown and black tiger female cat. Malibu was found in a highly populated stray cat area, and she was so terrified she walked constantly looking back over her shoulder. She had been a mama at some point, despite her young age. She was very nervous when she first came to us, and slowly started to relax under our regimen of food, love, warmth, love, care and love. Malibu is very happy with her new life, and we can see her confidence growing daily. She now plays (her favorite being laser tag) and she gets along well with other cats. She loves when someone stops by to visit her, and waits for you to give her some cuddling and head scratching while you visit with her. She’s a beautiful girl with her tiger coat and sparkling eyes. If you’re looking for a sweet girl, come meet Malibu!
At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Our shelter is located in the Care for Animals veterinary hospital, at 2944 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during the following hours: Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesday 9 am to 7 pm, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 9 am to 3 pm. We have an Adoption Open House every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon â hope to see you there! We're also happy to set up appointments.
