Facts about Downy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Downy is a beautiful 2 year old girl who has been with us since December! This makes Downy our longest resident right now. Poor Downy has been overlooked many times and seen lots of her friends go home. Downy is a sweet girl who just needs a little time to warm up to new people - most people only visit her for 5 minutes and Downy thinks it takes more time to make a good match! If a playful girl who will bond strongly with her person sounds appealing, then stop by to spend some quality time with Downy!

Downy has tested positive for Feline Leukemia, which means she should be an only cat or go home with another Leukemia positive cat. Contact us to learn more about our Care for Life adoption program!

Downy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Our Adoption Process...

No cat can be adopted without an adoption application being completed. You can find this form on our website, or stop by and pick one up. You will be notified by telephone or email as soon as your application review has been completed. This process generally takes 2-3 days. If there is a cat that interests you, a $25 non-refundable deposit can be placed on the cat and it will be held until your application is approved. If you are not approved your deposit will be returned to you. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Our adoption fees are $200 for a kitten one year and under, $125 for cats over one year and $50 for special needs cats. If adopting 2 cats/kittens you will receive a $25 discount off the total fee. The adoption fee includes testing for feline leukemia and feline aids, spay/neuter, rabies, distemper, worming, flea treatments etc. Some cats and kittens may not be able to receive all of these vaccines and it will become your responsibility to make sure your new cat's vaccines are tended to. All new parents receive a health record stating what vaccines and treatment the cat has had.
