Meet and Greet Pending upon arrival on January 22nd!
Hi! My name is Snickers and I have quite the rescue story. It took three nice people and five police officers from Bellaire, Texas to catch me. I had been camping out between two fences after getting away from my original owner. The nice woman who helped rescue me contacted my owner, but due to health problems he no longer could take care of me.. Lucky me! I got to go home with the nice lady and have been hanging out with her cool dogs for a while. I get along with her big dog and tiny dogs too! I don't mind cats and they don't mind me. I also love every person I meet including kids. I think the kiddos make the best playmates and they are almost as fast as me! I am a sweet and petite Shepherd Mix weighing about 25 pounds with a long body and short legs am crate trained and know to do my potty business outside. My favorite thing to do is play outside and I love to run really fast. I would love a home with another dog to play with. I was sad about my first home not working out, but I know my perfect home is out there waiting for me!
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
