My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Having Overcome his Handicap, Solstice is Ready to Help Humans Do the Same

Pease enjoy his videos on his webpage at www.cwer.org/sol.html to see just how well he is able to function, thanks to his intelligence, his will to overcome, and his BlindSight tool.

Solstice has a real touch with those of our visitors that have challenges of their own. Whether emotional, physical, or perhaps ones they've not yet even put a name to, people facing their own challenges are inspired by Sol and he has a real sense of their needs and connects to them and helps like few others.

Solstice is welcome to spend the rest of his life here, but we believe his real career is in a therapy facility, helping others to get past their "handicaps".

Solstice is a capable walk/trot trail horse (he doesn't trust to canter with a rider, although he will canter in his paddock using his blindsight to play with his friends!), and does fabulously as a leadline partner, even at a very large, very noisy event.

He is gorgeous, fit, healthy, with no other difficulties, except needing a patient pasture companion and a chance to make a difference in other's lives.

If he isn't right for your program, perhaps you know of others where he could make the most difference?
