Missy could not move cross country with her folks and came to Paw Parent instead.  It was not easy for her parents to give her up and she came with all kinds of goodies that they had gotten for her to make the transition easier.  Missy has adjusted really well.  She is a great dog that is very athletic and energetic and loves to go on long walks and just run and explore.  She will never be far away and makes sure she has you in her eyesight.  Her parents said that she is housebroken and good with other dogs when the introduction is slow, I still would recommend a home with no dogs though, just to be on the save side.  She has the most beautiful shiny dark chocolate colored coat.  It is easy to make friends with her because she absolutely adores people and is great with children with whom she is very affectionate.

She is 3 years old and weighs about 60 pounds.  She is housebroken, microchipped and up to date on all her shots.

Please call 661-724-0642 if you want to meet her.

About Paw Parent

About Our Rescue Group...

Our goal is to fight for the plight of all companion animals so that none of them will ever
have to experience the horrors of being imprisoned in a pound system, where most of them are executed for the “crime” of being unwanted and homeless.
Animals entering our sanctuary will be given exceptional loving care and all the necessary medical attention whether short term, until adopted or for their lifetimes.
The survival of the sanctuary depends entirely on the support and donations from supporters, members and volunteers.
Through your generous giving we will be able to save countless lives in the future.

Our Adoption Process...

If you have found a pet of your liking on our site and contacted us we will make sure to get back to you as soon as possible.
We require a potential adopter to fill out an application.
If the application is satisfactory we will contact you to set up a time to meet. We also do home checks to make sure that the house or apartment the pet will go to is safe. The pet will be brought to your home at the time of the home check and if everything looks good and goes well the pet will be left with you. We are asking for an adoption fee and we also will have you sign a contract.
We allow a two week trial period during which the money will be refunded if it turnes out to not be a match. After the two week period the adoption fee is not refundable.
