CHEWY (Courtesy List)'s Story...
Chewy is a 9 month old smooth coat Border Collie in need of a loving home.  He had a broken leg when he was very young and it did not heal properly so he has a limp in his walk. He is also deaf. He loves people and is extremely affectionate. He has great drive and is a quick learner, but just as any young  dog needs consistent training. Chewy is great on leash ,crate  trained and has no issues with other dogs or children.  He has all his shots, neutered  & micro chipped. Chewy has special needs &  with a loving home he will grow and thrive.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHEWY (Courtesy List), a San Pedro Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
