My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING!
My name is Ellie, and I am a very cuddly little girl who loves to be with people. I do great with the doggies in my kennel area, too, and I am in with three other little Cockers. I am just aching to be in a home where I can be loved up and spend my retirement years! It is so wonderful when my rescuer comes in and plays with me, but I am so sad when she has to leave again.

I have what she calls a "cherry eye" in my left eye. She takes me to this nice doctor who specializes in eye problems and is going to fix it for me, but she is waiting for someone special to foster or adopt me so that I don't have to be in an e-collar in the kennel for a few days. I am otherwise healthy, though, and I am a Class A cuddler. I really love my chew toys and the stuffy animals I am given, so I guess I am still a puppy at heart!

I am about 12 or 13 now and in my Golden Years, but I do like to go out walking or taken on adventures, and I am very good in the car. I have put on a few pounds in this kennel and need to get those pounds off again, so walking would be very helpful to me! It is taking so long for my Special Someone to find me! I guess nobody wants me because of my age. That makes me sad. I have so much love to give! Glory is my pal, and if you want two doggies, we could be adopted or fostered in the same home together.

My adopter calls me her adorable little sanctuary doggie. That means that she will pay for all of my medical expenses for the rest of my life. Wow! Call Ann at 805-499-4488.
