Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Her foster tells us that 3 year old, 12 lb Poppy is one of the sweetest, most easy going dogs that she has ever fostered. Poppy is a slight "special needs" dog as she has Dry Eye in one eye. This requires eye drops twice a day. Unlike many dogs, she is very easy to give drops to as she sits very patiently. She was an owner surrender as her owner could not deal with her eye condition. We feel that in her short life so far, Poppy has had a very hard one. She came to us with, as the vet said, "a broken spirit". There does seem to be an aura of sadness about her. However her foster tells us that with each new day Poppy has become happier and happier and interacts with what is going on in the house more and more. Poppy is housebroken, not a big yapper, is wonderfully behaved in the car, walks beautifully on a leash and LOVES her walks. We feel she would be a delightful addition to any caring household.
