My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rascal is a darling male Maltese, 2 years old. He is a small dog, weighing 8 lbs fully grown. He has a lovely soft, all white, non shedding coat of hair. Rascal is a fun dog with an outgoing, playful personality. He was a cherished, only pet, and received lots of loving attention. Sadly his owner became ill and asked our rescue to help Rascal find a new family for him. Rascal prefers an adult as a companion vs. other dogs. He is used to a calm living environment so he would do best in a quiet home without children. He does show some anxiety and barks/howls when left alone so a home without shared walls (condos and apartments) is advised. Rascal gets high marks for his love of fetching and playing with toys. He thoroughly enjoys going for car rides and meeting new people. Rascal is a delightful little dog and likes to be near a person. If you are seeking a healthy, playful little companion dog, Rascal would make a great choice.
