Kalisto's Story...
**PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.**

OHHHH Kalisto! Kalisto is a 1-year-old, 7 lb female comedian. You will never have a dull moment with this gal around. Kalisto is very social, silly, and as you can tell, likes to be the star of the show. She does great with kids and other dogs. She does pretty well on leash and harness, is crate trained, and well mannered. Kalisto is just such a goof. She would do best in a family with either kids or other dogs and someone that will spend some outdoor play time or walk with her. She is not super hyperactive, but she does have some playful energy to burn off.

If you would like to adopt Kalisto, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.com. Her adoption fee, including transportation to CT with vetting paperwork, microchip registration to adopter, collar & harness, is $400.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in San Antonio, Texas. All of our adoptable dogs are located in the San Antonio area. Additional photos and videos will be made available to potential adopters upon approval of our online adoption application. Transport arrangements will be made upon application approval and completion of the adoption agreement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kalisto, a Danbury Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Danbury, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Danbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
