Linus Frost's Story...
Linus is a happy 11-month old who always has a smile on his face. He is new to the YLDR Family but has already proven to be a real joy to have around. He loves to play with other dogs, chew on antlers and rope toys as well as likes to follow me around the house. He is house-trained and crate trained, although the crate isn’t his preference. He has not shown any destructive behaviors, but he is busy like any other growing puppy. He has four foster siblings at the moment, so he has a lot of fun playing and running around with them.

Linus is a smart little man and already knows how to sit, lay down and shake on command. He was very fearful of the leash when he first was rescued, but we’ve been working with him on this and he is doing awesome! We started out with a harness and then introduced the leash again. He has done superb and is walking like a champ on leash.

Over the last few days, Linus has been enjoying his new found freedom from the shelter. He has been enjoying the finer things in life that all pups should have such as a warm and safe place to call home, lots of love, treats, toys and foster siblings to play with and learn from. Linus is eager to please and has a lot of love and smiles to bring to his forever family.

Linus has an estimated DOB of 1/26/2016, is believed to be a Terrier/Shepherd mix, weighs 58 pounds and is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
