Let Buckner be your new best bud! Look at this beautiful boy who sports a twinkle of blue in one eye! Buckner is an Australian Shepherd mix who is around 8 months old and he is ready to play. He is a fun and fluffy breed mix who will make his forever family a fantastic friend. Since this babe is still a puppy he will need some patience along with all the laughter and lounging. In his new home he will be happiest with a fenced in yard so he will have room to run out all his herding dog instincts. Buckner is good with other dogs and would likely enjoy some four-legged siblings of the canine variety to romp and roll around with, just as long as they are as sturdy and fun-loving as he is! Buckner is also friendly with cats but tends to give chase if given the chance. He is one excellent choice for a family willing to make the commitment to a dog who will invest ten times what he is given. One thing Bucker hopes you will understand is that he is wary of strangers at first, but his cautious side will quickly turn to playful with some kind words and treats. He is crate trained and rides well in the car. With consistent schedule he will be housetrained at a new home in no time. Buckner will bring you all the best in the new year! If you feel your family would make our Buckner the "best boy on the block," apply to adopt him today!

Typical transport cost to the northeast is $150, but may be less depending on your location (Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA residents.)

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Adoption donations vary and are subject to change without notice. Thank you for thinking adoption first!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.

About A.A.R.F. TN to NJ Connection

About Our Rescue Group...

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) no-kill animal rescue located in the Upper Cumberland Region of Middle Tennessee where animal control issues are out of control. A.A.R.F. is making a difference not only in the lives of these wonderful, abandoned and neglected animals, but also in our community. We encourage you to see the wonderful dogs and puppies that we have available for adoption – and the best part is that we have a local transportation company, P.E.T.S. LLC (as seen on Animal Planet’s “Last Chance Highway”) right next door!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter in the New England area. Therefore it is not possible to meet our rescues in person prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new families each week! The professional transport service is certified through the USDA. Our rescue dogs can be returned to us if things don't work out. We want each adoption to be for a forever home, so we try very hard to make sure it's the right match! Video conference meetings available and encouraged.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts with the submittal of an Adoption Application online and a phone interview with one of our adoption coordinators. To be sure the long distance adoption is the right match for both the dog and family, we offer virtual video conference meeting for your new family member. Following verification and approval of your adoption application, we will arrange a professional transport of our new family member to your area. Our adoption donations range from $200-$300 depending on circumstances of the rescue dog, age, breed, etc. Professional transportation for your new family member is $150. We require a signed contract, driver's license and vet reference.
