My name is ChanChan! Abandoned as a senior by my family I cannot tell you what my life was like before my awesomesauce foster mom came to pick me up at the pound but I can tell you what my life is like now
IT IS AN AMAZING PUG LIFE!
And don’t let my age fool you… if you think I am some quiet and tired senior think again! I have the energy level of a puppy who always wants to play, play, play! I really would love an active friend who will enjoy spending time with me.
I am approximately 7.55 kilogram / 17 lbs
In foster care I have other dogs to hang out with and even cats! I pretty much ignore the other dogs for the most part but do like hanging out with the kitties!
I am left alone full work day, and have been left both crated and uncrated. I am fine in my crate. I do have separation anxiety so when left alone uncrated with items laying around I will chew them up like that brand new shining cell phone you got … those are my most favorite things to chew.
I probably would not do well in an apartment I do cry a little when left alone as well, nothing major just some whining. I also can be vocal when I hear noises.
I do, do my business outside when I am outside but can have accidents in the home though when left for longer periods of time. I think it is normal based on my age and also being in a new home learning all the new rules. I am not leash trained, I have a feeling I did not spend much time outside on walks in my previous life.
I absolutely love car rides!
I would also be best in a home without young children because I can decide their toys are my toys and become possessive with them. While this is easily managed in a home with adults only I am concerned with a young child around. I should not be left alone with children and their toys or food unattended at any point and time … but this kinda is the rule for all dogs and children, no?!
Foster mom wanted to add her own little note about me to my profile so here is what she has to say:
“I am not used to puppies but she reminds me of one. I can’t believe she’s 10 years old.
She never rests except for the night. She runs over the house non-stop.
She would be happy with an active couple with older child who would be willing to continue her training. Don’t get fool by her age!”

A 3-Step process to adopt one of our foster dogs.
1. Fill the adoption form. It might seem long, but it’s the best way to find the right dog for you and your family!
2. We’ll arrange a meeting with the foster family of the dog you want to meet so you can see if s/he’s the right one for you.
3. If you decide to move forward, you’ll be asked to agree to a home visit, fill-in and sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
