Mario AKA Milo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mario AKA Milo's Story...
Mario is a handsome boy who appears to be a German Shorthair Pointer / Plott Hound mix. He is approximately 11 months old and full of puppy energy. This boy needs lots of exercise and play time. He loves toys and is quickly learning to fetch. He can already sit on command. Mario crates well although he can be vocal.

This boy is not only handsome, he is super smart and is quickly learning basic commands. Mario does fine with other dogs, as long as they are tolerant of his energy and play. Due to his high energy, size and enthusiastic play, Mario would not be a good fit for a family with small children.

Mario is looking for an energetic forever family to call his own. Is it you?

**An application and home visit are required. Transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes. Please ask us for more information if you are not in Tennessee**

**All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.**

Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mario AKA Milo, a Columbia German Shorthaired Pointer/Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Plott Hound for sale in Columbia, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Plott Hound breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
