My name is Alexis. I am a tri-colored, active, very busy cocker spaniel girl about 1 to 2 years old. My owner was in her early 40's and passed away unexpectedly. I lived with several other dogs and a bird. She dearly loved all of us. The family members kept only one of the dogs. I came to CCR because a staff worker at the shelter asked for rescue help.

I am heartworm negative, already spayed and I am updated on shots and any needed vet care. They did find that I am anemic from being loaded with hookworms, so this is being treated. I am a real sweetheart, very active, busy and a friendly girl. I will be a wonderful companion for someone to adopt and love. I am a happy, happy petite little lady, weighing only about 18 pounds. I am dog social and I can be in a home with children 7 and older. I would love a home where I can run, play, romp around and enjoy a great life with you. Please give me the loving home that I deserve, I would love to be your sweet baby girl!
