Shadow first came to the shelter as a stray. He was adopted but shortly after that was picked up as a stray again. He was found roaming the streets trying to find food and a roof to cover his head. A kind soul found him and brought him to the shelter for his safety. His owner was contacted but the family decided to not come and claim their dog. They did state that he was active and fun loving plus was housebroken.

At least here at the shelter his basic needs are met, like food and water plus a roof over his head. However, he is longing to find her forever home. He has plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for him?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with him.

He is a young fellow at heart. He has been checked out by a veterinarian. He received a set of preventative shots and has been wormed. He tested negative for heartworms. He has been neutered and microchipped.

He is being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.
