Chelsea (aka Wiggle Bum) is a beautiful girl that needs a lot of hands on, one on one time. Chelsea is a very affectionate, warm, sweet and bright girl. However her furever home shouldn't have any cats as sadly Chelsea likes to hunt them..... I think her current home environment (with several plus dogs and a cat) is not the ideal environment that Chelsea can flourish as the beautiful dog she is. She would be best as being the only dog or having one friend. Although we have done professional training with her, Chelsea needs to someone to have eyes only for her, and help her so she can enjoy her walks without being defensive. I feel the ideal individual/family will be one that offers her a lot of love and affection but knows how to reinforce good manners and boundaries. As Chelsea is still less than a year, she is very puppy and lots of energy, so she will need her human(s) to have time to play with her and walk her.

We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.

Adoption Fees for puppies under 6 months old: $225
Adoption Fees for dogs/puppies 6 months old or older: $150

We ask that you fill out an adoption application before you meet our animals. You can download it here:

About Florida Urgent Rescue Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to dramatically improve the lives of shelter and rescue animals, to assist in urgent rescue situations and to implement resources to help in the aid of these animals. We rescue from death row at high kill shelters and help them have happy lives in their furever homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please note: We are not a shelter. We do not have a kennel or facility that you can visit and see all the Animals. Each Animal is fostered in an individual home. So, you cannot come visit our animals until you have gone through the application and brief phone interview process and then we will schedule a meet and greet with the animal and their foster parents. Then the next step would be a 1 week sleepover, so before finalizing we can all make sure it's a perfect fit. We are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, we do not have set "hours" and we answer all calls and emails as quickly as we can. Thank you so much for your interest in our FUR Babies!

Our Adoption Process...

We require a written application, references and a home check prior to adoption. If you're interested in a foster-to-adopt, we are very flexible.
