Rosie is a sweet and gentle girl who is looking to find her forever home.
Rosie is a Chihuahua mix, who is about 10 years old and weighs around 22 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped. She only has 4 teeth in the front of her mouth, they stick out and make her absolutely adorable! She gets along with dogs her size and smaller, is not too fond of larger dogs, but would be happy as the only one. I am not sure about cats.
Rosie was recently diagnosed with diabetes. She is on a grain-free diet and has insulin shots twice a day. This is very easy to do and she is great about getting her shots. I just give her a little snack and she doesn’t mind. This will be something she is always on. It is very manageable and very inexpensive. Her insulin and box of needles was about $38. This will be an every couple of months. After her adoption, she will need her sugar level checked at 1 week and also 1 month, which Tucson Cold Wet Noses will pay for.
If you are looking for a mellow older lady to share your life with, Rosie might just be the one for you.
If you are interested in meeting Rosie email firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out an adoption application at www.tucsoncoldwetnoses.com.
Rosie's adoption fee is $150, and her PACC license transfer fee is $18.
