My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raiden: The Most Handsome Prince in all the Land
2-year-old, long-coat, large, black and tan German Shepherd
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with children: Likely
Good with cats: Unknown

Look at this big teddy bear! Raiden was found by a good Samaritan as a stray wandering around in Phoenix and all attempts to locate his owner have failed. But this fellow must have been loved because his finder and our volunteer report that he’s very sweet, rode well in the car and got along with the finder’s large dogs. He also seems to do well on a leash. And my gosh, is this guy stunning! You just want to go up and hug him! And he would love it because he’s incredibly friendly.
We think Raiden is about two years old, so he’s got his whole life ahead of him! We don’t know if he’s good with cats, but he has gotten along well with a few other dogs and has been around kids a bit and seemed fine.
Our volunteers report that he seems to be a pretty cool guy. Being a shepherd, we recommend that Raiden go to an active family that can keep him physically and mentally stimulated and will enroll him in some obedience classes so he learns to be the perfect house dog.
But if you’re looking for a handsome, friendly, easy going but fun forever companion, don’t wait because Raiden will be snapped up before you know it. If you can open your home and heart to our boy, please fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We won’t schedule meet & greets without an approved app on file.

As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet & greets with an approved application! Here is the link:
