Scruffy, born approximately 1/20/12, came to us due to housing and moving situations of his previous owner. He is a social and loving kitty that is looking for a good home to provide him with the love and attention he craves and deserves.

Scruffy will rub against your legs, cuddle next to you on the couch, or get in your lap. He loves to be petted and has a nice purrr. However, he will reach out for you or lightly nip at your hand if you stop petting him before he thinks you should stop. He loves to play with the laser light and string toys. He uses the scratching post and enjoys the cardboard scratchers. Scruffy gets along well with other friendly cats and has previously been around children. He was an inside/outside kitty but has adjusted well to being inside only, which is better for him as he is very sensitive to fleas. As a young adult, he is still young enough to play. While he gets along with other cats, he would also be content to be an only kitty and be ok alone while you are at work/school as long as he receives attention when you are home. Kittens are cute, but older cats make great companions.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.
