Lyla's Story...
Meet Lyla! Lyla is a 1-2 year old Pointer mix who is looking for a furever home! Lyla was found as a stray--she had recently given birth to puppies. Lyla is a really sweet girl and super friendly. She is GREAT with kids. She can be timid at times and takes a bit to settle into her surroundings. Lyla is often intimidated by other large dogs. She would do best with a smaller dog in her home. She has the cutest underbite that gives her character! She loves to be lazy and enjoys just hanging out. We would describe her to be low to medium energy. She loves to go for walks. Lyla doesn't seem to have been given a lot of love in her life. However, she is learning what that is now. She cannot wait to find her family. Lyla will be spayed, up to date on shots, she is heartworm negative, wormed, and will be microchipped.

My Adoption Fee is $200.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lyla, a Florence Pointer/German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Florence, or seeking a Pointer/German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Florence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Florence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Florence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with Pointer/German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Florence paves the way for another one to be saved.
