China is a gorgeous purebred Persian girl who has been used for human greed her entire life. It is documented she had at least 14 litters of kittens as a breeding female over the span of 8 yrs before she was 'retired' and given to someone who then further neglected her. She was found covered in fleas, her skin raw, her teeth worn down & rotting, her ears painful & infected, and her spirit crushed from years of suffering & neglect. She is now in our care and receiving the tender loving care & medical attention she so desperately needed. China is learning that there is hope, that there are people who will treat her with kindness, and that she is worthy of love. She enjoys the company of other cats and follows them around looking for companionship. She doesn't have a mean bone in her, just a spirit that needs to heal and we believe we are on the right track in helping her in that journey.
Once she is off medical hold and ready for adoption, she will need a quiet retirement home with no children as they make her nervous & stress her. Excellent veterinary reference with past and/or present cat ownership history required.
China was born October of 2006 and is a petite girl. She has a gorgeous white coat that looks like a floating cloud. Her eyes are a beautiful light green that will melt you. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, has received Revolution, tested negative for FIV/FELV, dewormed, and had a dental. Adoption fee is $150. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved.
