Violet's Story...
Hi, my name is Violet, I am a Beautiful fun loving all gray Short hair female with tan paws who is approx. 1-2 years young. My last family dropped me off on the street in Fall River to fend for myself when they decided to move, but luckily I was rescued by a kind family who fed me before contacting Project Spay for help in getting me placed with a new loving family. I am very sweet, laid back, friendly and love to lay all snuggled up to you when I sleep at. I would prefer to be the only cat in the house to be the center of a Forever Home offering unconditional love and companionship.  I am ready to be adopted to my Forever family. Our adoption fee includes spaying, distemper and rabies shots which she has recently had done. She is ready for a loving Forever home! 😻

Please contact me at pjlema@yahoo.com if you are interested in completing an adoption application to be considered to adopt Violet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet, a Swansea American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Swansea, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Swansea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Swansea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Swansea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Swansea paves the way for another one to be saved.
