Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gomer is a purebred Black and Tan Hound, male, approximately 3 yrs old.
Gomer was found tethered to a tree in the Northern Arizona woods. Had he not been found by a kind passerby, he may have frozen to death.
Gomer is gentle and easy going with people. He likes attention. However, if he gets excited about something, he can forget about his large size and be like a bull in a china shop. Therefore, he probably should not live with children under 10 years or with smaller dogs.
Gomer loves his sofa, but he is also crate trained. It's up to you where he should sleep. He is good in the house but can be a thief of food left on counters and clothing that smells like his family. Shoes and socks definitely need to be put away.
Gomer has been vet checked and neutered. He is up to date on vaccines, tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases and had a dental cleaning in December 2016.
Our application process includes an application, phone interview, home visit and a meet/greet with all members of the potential new family. We offer a two week trial to assure a good match has been made for your lifestyle and family. The adoption fee for Gomer is $450.
