This adorable little munchkin is Devlin! He is thought to be a Pug/Beagle mix, with a little Pomeranian thrown in. Devlin loves, loves, loves to be held and snuggled as much as he can; he is the best cuddle buddy, EVER. He loves fleecy blankets, and adores every human he has met. Devlin also prefers to sleep with his humans, where he can cozy up with them in soft, warm blankets.
Devlin is a playful little guy, and one way to his heart is with a squeaky toy! He will walk around with one in his mouth, just squeaking it. He loves to nap/hang out with his foster dog siblings, and to go for walks and play in the yard with them too. We don't know how he is with cats. Sadly, Devlin's previous living situation was outside in a dog house. He has blossomed, happily learning about all the comforts of living indoors as part of a family, as he should be. His housetraining is going beautifully, and he will stand by the door 90% of the time when he needs to go out -- he sometimes forgets, but has only had a few accidents. He is a sweet little guy with an endearing "love me" look on his face, and it is hard to resist him! Devlin arrived to us very thin, and his foster has been working to fatten him up a bit... He is a great little eater with a big appetite, and he loves cooked veggies mixed with his food. Devlin is fully-vetted and a healthy little guy now. He has been treated for heartworm (which is fully curable and preventable), and is doing great & feeling strong! Devlin's ideal family will have a quieter pace and basic structured routine, which will make his continued learning about living indoors easier. He is a charming and very affectionate little boy, who is hoping for a loving forever family of his very own-- he is so deserving of this second chance!
All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped.

AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess. BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
