Isabel's Story...
ISABEL
Wrestle and run! Izzy's favorite game is pretty popular among young cats, so she makes feline friends quite easily. Of course, it helps that she's the fearless, curious type too - you'll find this gal exploring your shower or trying to communicate with her reflection in the mirror. And, once she's all done for the day, she loves to cuddle up with her hoo-man. What more can you ask for?
MIA
Mia, aka Miss Manners, will lay on your lap and carry on a fantastic conversation with you! In fact, her favorite things are snuggling and chattering. Let her nudge up close to you at naptime; she'll wear herself out playing chase and wrestling with her cat friends (it's not ladylike, but it IS fun!). Fall in love with this sweet, friendly furball today. These pretty girls were born in January 2016 and are looking for a home together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabel, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
