Lady's Story...
Meet Lady!
She was an ACO confiscation back in June 2016. She went to the shelter in Pensacola and the owner was charged with cruelty/neglect. She weighed 30 lbs on intake. She put on 10 lbs but then stopped putting on weight most likely due to the highly stressful conditions at the shelter. She is extremely friendly and complete sweetheart. Very well behaved, loves toys and loves to play fetch. Good with other dogs but a slow introduction is a must though because she has been in confinement for over half a year and lack some social skills when meeting other dogs. She is about 2 years old

Applications can be found at sophiescircle.org and her adoption fee is $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a New Smyrna Beach Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in New Smyrna Beach, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in New Smyrna Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Smyrna Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Smyrna Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Smyrna Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
