1/6/17

Bear is an approximately 8 mo old possible Poodle/Schnauzer mix, we are uncertain of any other possible mix. He weighed 12 lbs., when neutered on 1/5/17. Ready to arrive 1/21/17. Please read everything below.

This darling dog is one of 68 dogs rescued from a hoarding situation in West Alabama. These dogs have never been abused! The situation where they lived deteriorated when dogs were not spay and neutered, more and more dogs were reproducing. It is clear that every dog was loved. Everyone of them wants to be held. They are shy at first, but warm up VERY QUICKLY. We are working on housebreaking them, a difficult task due to the sheer volume. We are finding crate training first is best, these dogs were never outside, never walked on grass. Rescued dogs are always grateful! These babies will be wonderful companions for anyone willing to take the little extra time to show them the ropes of having there own home. As you can imagine they do great with other dogs.

Our standard adoption fee is $475 which covers:
All age appropriate vaccines (3 DHPP vax)
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vax
Rabies vax if 12 weeks and older
grooming
microchip
utd on flea/tick prevention
utd on heartworm prevention
spay or neuter of pet
bi-weekly worming
heartworm test @ age 6 months or older
fostering costs
transport and health certificate

We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
