Cairo's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Cairo's Story...
Cairo is an adorable, new youngster who was surrendered to the animal shelter after a bite. The details are kind of fuzzy so we don't know the full story but from what we do know, he isn't necessarily to blame. Cairo is just under a year and you can tell when you meet him that once he gets comfortable, he will be full of energy. There is an insecurity to his temperament so he needs owners that can give him clear direction, leadership and has the patience not to push him when he's uncomfortable. He has been a sweetheart with us, excited to meet new dogs and he is absolutely gorgeous. We are looking for an experienced home for Cairo, not because we consider him a danger, but because a young Dobie takes some work and we want to see him in the right forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cairo, a Fillmore Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fillmore, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fillmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fillmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fillmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fillmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
