Dachshund/Chihuahua mix

Their mother, Dancer is a 13 pound Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. She was rescued from Caddo Parish Animal Services the day she started delivering puppies. She had already delivered Cupid, the only female, when we picked her up. The rest were born at our rescue and they have all been in foster, along with the momma, since then. They've been lovingly cared for the entire time. They are now eating food on their own and momma has completed her job. We do not know what breed the father is or how big they will get... but we suspect they will be under 20 pounds.  Also, momma's ears stick up so it's possible their ears could ultimately stand up.  We will process applications in the order received.

To request an application, email roadtorescue@bellsouth.net.

You must have a responsible dog ownership history and excellent vet reference to qualify.
