My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is an approximately 5-6 yr old Collie/Golden Retriever/Aussie mix who was found as a stray in southern IN before being brought up north to find her forever home. She will need quite a few good meals, so that her ribs and spine can no longer be felt and her fur becomes soft. Despite being on her own for some time, Bella must have been in a house at one point in time because she knows how to climb stairs, found the bedroom which is the best place in the house to sleep and has no trouble going through doorways. Bella was even calm during her car ride from the vet.

Now that Bella has recovered a bit from surgery, her true personality is starting to emerge. She's very reserved and calm, is starting to approach her foster mom to get her eyebrows and neck scratched and has wagged her tail. Bella has not shown any interest in cats and tho a bit reserved allowed two middle school girls to hug her upon first meeting them. She seems very tolerant of other dogs, as she's currently in a household w/3 other dogs (older, larger female, younger much smaller female and a larger, younger obnoxious male). While Bella is still having accidents in the house, she is approaching the back door to be let outside, so the accidents may just be due to recent spay surgery.
