Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Girl is an approximately 7 yr old sheltie/spaniel mix. Little Girl was turned into a shelter in southern IN with her littermate Moose. The shelter suspects that Little Girl & Moose were turned into the shelter because they were no longer "fun" puppies.
Little Girl is very small and delicately built. She's tri-colored and has a half-mask that will remind you of Batgirl from the 1960s TV show. She's very affectionate and is started to become vocal. Whining a bit when nervous or worried but hasn't barked yet. Little Girl may look healthy but that's just her fur, she will need a few decent meals so that you no longer feel her ribs or spine. Little Girl is perfectly content to wait her turn at the dog food bowl.
While she was initially displeased with her foster brother, she's stopped growling at him and treats him the same as the other 2 female dogs in the house, now. Little Girl hasn't shown any interest in toys or playing with other dogs but did watch one of her foster sisters play chase with her foster brother. She hasn't been cat tested and it's unknown how she is with children but she does know how to climb stairs, rides calmly in the car and isn't afraid of doorways. She's had a few accidents in the house which could because she was recovering from anesthesia and doesn't know the household routine yet.
Little Girl is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you'd like to meet her, please call Margrit at 630.820.1584. Her adoption fee is $200.
