AXEL is a handsome and sweet hound mix with an engaging personality. We rescued him and his brother, Drake, who also has a profile, from a high kill shelter in North Carolina. They were so scared, cowering in the corners of their cages. They went to a foster home and almost immediately started coming out of their shells. AXEL is 9 months old, 46 pounds.. He is up to date on shots, neutered, and house broken. He is affectionate and playful, loves to be pet and to cuddle His favorite pastime is to try to squeeze into a doggie bed that is way too small for him and WATCH TV! He is not a barker, but is a bit scared of loud noises. He is good with other dogs, but at this point, we do not know about kids and cats. He wants to please and listens immediately to correction.
