Sasha's Story...
Name: Sasha
Breed: Shepherd/Aussie? mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Female

Sasha is a young adult female Shepherd/Aussie? mix, about 50 pounds. Sasha is seeking a new home with a large fenced area for her to run around in, bonus points if she gets dog time with a friend to run with. Sasha is house trained, crated for the day, and hoping to find an active and athletic home. She gets nervous around really young kids, kids ages 8 years and up are ideal. Sasha loves the park and going for runs or bike rides. She's dog friendly, never been with cats. Sasha is not reliable off leash as her favorite activity in the world is running, so needs a fenced yard to run and play in. She's smart, silly, and affectionate.

Requirements: Large fenced area for her to run in, preference for another dog

You can email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Minneapolis Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
