This little girl just arrived from Doha, Qatar on Christmas Eve. She's just a baby-probably 7-8 months old and all white with a pink nose and blue eyes. So sweet! We believe she is an Irish Wolfhound mix.

She spent the first months of her life chained to a rooftop in the broiling sun. Such a sad beginning, but now, it's time for her to have her forever home and a very special person to give her a new lease on life! Blanca is full of life and loves people. She needs someone who has experience socializing a puppy with other animals and someone with the patience to teach Blanca what it's like to be a beloved pet. She's going to require a lot of attention for now, so please no home with other animals or children under the age of 16.

Even if you don't think you have the right home situation, we welcome donations to help provide veterinary care, room and board, training and therapy, spay and vaccinations for Blanca. You can make a donation by visiting

If you're interested in adopting Blanca, you must complete an application before we can answer questions. Please complete our adoption application at Thanks very much!

About Canine Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Canine Pet Rescue Corp (CPR)
is dedicated to reconditioning wayward dogs, inparticular German Shepherd Dogs, with the end goal of placing them in a stable environment, which harbors positive behaviors from the dog. Many times, a dog will remain in our program for months, until the right environment is found. CPR believes that quality over rides quantity. We advocate responsible pet ownership and believe that education is key to providing wayward canines a strong and successful life. We believe that canines can be therapists, teachers, motivators, and friends and the love of the DOG carries us to the goal of rescuing, rehabilitating, and training these misplaced canines. We are a small group, made up of various rescue individuals that assume the responsibility of caring for, providing medical care, rehabilitating, and training misplaced or owner surrendered canines. Many of the dogs within the organization have been mishandled or placed in the wrong environment and are in desperate need of mental stimulation, training, and a proper structure in their lives.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All appointments are scheduled between the adopter and one of our adoption counselors, after the application process is completed.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with the adopter filling out our online adoption application. Vet references are checked first, as we have a stringent policy requiring all current and past pets to have proper vetting provided. After the vet reference is complete, personal references are contacted, and a home visit is scheduled with the adopter. Finally, the adopter is invited to meet all of the dogs that might be a fit for their home.

Fees range from $200 to $400.
