I Went on a Joyride!
'We are sponsoring a transport in honor of our dogs, cats, grand-dogs and grand-cats and in memory of all the wonderful pets that we have loved. We are grateful for all the joy they have given us and truly blessed to have them share our lives. We hope that the animals taking this trip will live long, happy lives as they bring joy to their new families. So settle in, doggies, and enjoy the ride! And a huge thank you to Joyful Rescues for helping so many lucky animals find their new families.' To our anonymous sponsor, we THANK YOU, for saving these precious lives!
Cookie is one of Sophie Joyride's puppies that were born about November 18, 2016 and came to us when they were only about two weeks old. The little family has been fostered by our amazing, long time, volunteers The Browns and since they are all doing so very well there, including Sophie, they will be staying until they find their very own forever home. These pups are just the happiest little things and staying with their mom so long is very good for them, she is an amazing mom!!! Every pup looks SO different!!! There can be multiple dad's per pregnancy and perhaps that is the reason or both parents were so mixed that different genes hit different puppies. Some have long, soft, wavy, fur and other have some ticking. The ticking gene seems to be in the Aussie, GSP, and Brittany breeds and, perhaps, the Aussie is where the long fur comes into play. A couple pups seem to have a bit of hound in them, but that could be the GSP coming through and the chocolate one - no clue! Sophie, the mom, is very petite weighing in the 35-40 lb. range and there does appear to be some Pit in her, but other than that she just looks really mixed in the shrunken Lab kind of way. We feel the pups may be larger weighing in the 60 lb. range, but we are REALLY guessing at this! If size is very important to you these pups are probably not for you. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $350.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
