Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Duke is a happy go lucky fella, and he's ready for a forever home! This handsome guy gets along fabulously with other dogs, loves to go for runs with his foster mom, and is a great hiking companion too. Duke is house trained, and does very well on the leash. He is very much an exuberant young dog, and loves learning new things.
Viva! NM Rural Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue therefore we do not have a shelter facility. Meet & Greets can be arranged by appointment only or if the animal is at an adoption event. Our adoption process begins with an adoption application, which you can fill out in person at an event or onlinehere: Www.viva-nm.org/adopt.html . Once the application is submitted and approved, Viva conducts a meet & greet, and then a home visit. Once the application, meet & greet & home visit are successfully completed we complete our adoptions with an adoption contract and payment of the adoption fee. Each contract includes a 10 day trial adoption period. We do NOT do out of state adoptions.
Adoption fees for our dogs is $200, and cats is $50. Seniors and select animals may have reduced fees. The adoption fee includes current vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, Spay/Neuter, heartworm test and Microchip.
