HISTORY:
Pirate was surrendered by his owner who was moving somewhere that she could not bring him. She had him since he was a puppy and left animal control in tears.

ABOUT:
Pirate might be a senior, but he is in great condition and has quite a bit of pep in his step. He loves walks and even running! Pirate’s original owner said that he was good with a chihuahua and beagle owned by a family member. His foster home said he is housebroken and doesn’t need to be crated as he isn’t destructive. He LOVES to go for car rides, especially if you’re going to McDonalds. He perks up if you go through any drive thru, the bank, the pharmacy etc. just incase you’re getting him a cheeseburger. He hasn’t been phased by the cold weather so it’s possible he’s part polar bear. He’s very friendly and social. His original owner said that he was good with kids.
