HISTORY:
Pablo came to LLR through CRISP https://www.facebook.com/CRISPpage/ His family said they were moving and they couldn’t bring him with.

ABOUT:
Pablo’s foster mom described him with the following words: adorable, sweet, curious, playful, affectionate. If you roll that into one word you get: PUPPY. Like most puppies Pablo would do best in a family that has time to expend his typical puppy energy. Pablo is housebroken and crate trained. He cries for a few minutes when he first goes in, but nothing excessive. Because he is housetrained he earned the privilege of sleeping in bed with his foster momma. He loves to chase things….balls...toys...other dogs. He loves to play with all kinds of toys. He knows sit and stay, but like all puppies, he doesn’t always listen if he is distracted. Pablo gets regular walks in his foster home. They said he walks fairly well, but isn’t perfect. He loves to stop and smell the roses, or leaves, or a bottle, or this blade of grass, or that blade of grass. It’s just a big exciting world and he wants to take it all in!

Pablo is great with people, he’s a teensy weensy bit shy when someone new comes over, but if they pet him he immediately trusts them. He lives with a 10 year old and has a frequent 5 year old visitor. He loves them both. He lives with an adult male and young female dog and gets along well with both. Pablo would be an appropriate choice for a home with another dog(s), but he does like to play hard so it would be best if the other dog(s) can appreciate that play style. At his CRISP intake we were told that he is good with cats, but when his foster mom took him over to visit a cat that is used to living with dogs he seemed very interested, but he did not chase. Decisions on homes with cats will probably need to be made on a case-by-case basis.
