Robin's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Robin's Story...
Robin and ten other kittens were 'dumped' at the Kansas City Kansas Animal Control facility....luckily we were able to take them into one of our foster homes.  Robin and her companions were all born around February 25th 2009 so they are still too little to release however we are accepting applications for pre-adoption.  They should be ready to release around the end of April or the first part of May.  We do require a $25.00 deposit to hold them until they can be spayed or neutered.  These little guys will be at Mariposa Vet Clinic this Saturday for you to meet.  The adoption fee is $85.00 each or two for $150.00.  Every kitten is spayed or neutered prior to adoption.  We can safely spay or neuter them once they weigh two pounds which happens around ten weeks of age.  If you would like to get pre-approved or want more information just e-mail kittycityks@aol.com or call 913-422-1911

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Robin, a Lenexa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lenexa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lenexa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lenexa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lenexa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lenexa paves the way for another one to be saved.
