Glory is a female black and white Chihuahua / Dachshund Mix, born May 17, 2016. Glory is a tiny dog and weighs approx. 9#. Glory has a meek but spunky personality and loves attention. She has been friendly towards people, dogs, and cats she has met, but appreciates her own space while eating. Glory does have some food allergies and does best on a special diet (grain free lamb). She feels best with regular baths (once a week- every other week). Glory loves to play or cuddle on the couch. She has bit of a hoarding problem, which we find funny. (She likes to collect items from around the house in her crate; she never chews them, just a collector). She walks well on the leash and loves to go for walks. She also rides well in the car and enjoys outings; she even rode on the Christmas Parade Float! Glory is doing well with house training and crate training. She is bright, cheerful, and ready to light up your life! She is spayed and UTD on shots! The adoption fee is $300. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: http://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/DogAdoptionApplication.html. We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.
