Hello Everyone! My name is Charles and I am available to a most perfect home! I'm a senior southern gentleman. I was found wandering as a stray in Smyth County Virginia. I was in pretty poor condition when I was found. Through the tender care of the vet and my foster mom, I am doing pretty well! I love to eat, I enjoy watching my foster siblings play. I would be best with other dogs who are not too fast or rambunctious. I'm good with all adults. I prefer older children because I'm deaf and my sight isn't so good, so the young ones with their zipping and zooming are a bit startling to me. I am pretty well potty trained. I do need monthly visits with a patient and kind vet as I have a chronic ear infection that my current vet keeps under control with a depot antibiotic that is placed monthly in my ear canal. I do have hair missing on my back and around my neck, which my foster mom says is my badge of survivorship of some hard times in my life. Despite all this, I enjoy being in a home and love getting head scratches and pets. Please consider giving me a forever home. I will love you for the rest of my life! Just visit AMMF's website at www.allmuttsmatter.org and fill out an adoption app if you're interested in meeting me!
