My life didn't have a very nice start-I lived with a lot of other dogs in a rural area and we all lived in a dirt backyard with nothing to keep us warm maybe a cardboard box here and there and that's all we had besides each other to keep warm at night and it was so very COLD out there!
We were owned by an elderly man in a wheelchair who could never afford to take any of us to the vet so we started multiplying as you can imagine and some of us fought with each other but nothing was ever done since we pretty much were ignored out in that yard. Animal Control finally showed up and told the man to "get his numbers down" and when someone who lived nearby found out she posted a plea on Facebook to get us help and it sure worked!
A lot of people got together to get me and 2 of my friends out of that horrible place and so off in a volunteer's car we went for a really long drive to the South Bay! BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!
We had to spend a few days being boarded at an animal hospital and it was the first time EVER we got sleep on a soft bed and INSIDE and they gave us yummy food and treated us with love!
I am around 1 1/2 years old and a chihuahua mix and great with other dogs and please don't mind the little scars on my face those are now part of my past that I wish to forget! I would be perfect in a home with a kind and compassionate and patient person who has another dog-I'm so used to only living with other dogs that my rescue wants to make sure that I will always have a canine buddy around to show me the ropes and to help me feel safe and secure. I warm up quickly to KIND humans so I will be patiently waiting to meet YOU to see if we are a good match ok?
