A SWEET SENIOR GENTLEMAN: 12 years old / 6.5 lbs. Meet me Saturdays at 1 of our 2 Kennesaw locations from 11-4pm. Check for my location at www.mostlymutts.org after 5pm on Fridays. My owner passed away, so I’m looking for a nice quiet home to retire in with a family member who is home a lot and is looking for a sweet and tiny lap doggie to keep them company. I came in with my friend Grandma Tasha if you happen to be looking for two small senior dogs, but we don’t have to be adopted together. Since I’m an older fellow I have some sore joints so I need to be picked up carefully. I’ve tried to nip a few times but never made contact, due to some pain, so I’m on an inexpensive pain medication now and should stay on it to help me feel comfortable. I’m also on an inexpensive medication for my little tummy which helps me too! I gladly take my pills in a little piece of cheese. I walk nicely on a leash and really enjoy my little walks although I don’t need long ones. I just had my teeth cleaned so my mouth is healthy now. I only have teeth in the back but I’m fine with that. I haven’t been crated but my foster family keeps me in the bathroom when needed and I do well with that. I have good potty manners when kept on a regular take out schedule, I also go to the door at times. I can’t walk up or down stairs at all, but I’m tiny so you can easily carry me. In addition to laps, I like to sleep on the floor in a nice doggie bed. I have a quiet nature and am a little shy at first, but I do warm up nicely and love following my favorite person around. I make a little crying sound when I want to be with you. If you have other dogs, please make sure they are the quiet and laid back type. Much older gentle kids only as I’m very small and due to my older age and joint sensitivity. We think I have some hearing loss like a lot of older dogs and people do. Energy level: 3 – 5. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $100.00.
