My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RESCUED!
*LORENZO*
#003-17
Male Wire-Haired Terrier Mix Breed
Date in: 1/4/17

My new name is Lorenzo, but the people in my old neighborhood used to call me Mutt. You see, I had been the running free in a local neighborhood for a few months and was fending for myself with the help of some friendly folks. I guess after awhile they felt like it was time for me to find a place of my own, so here I am at the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center. I'm not used to lots of attention because no one really loves on a stray dog that much, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to learn what it means to have a belly rub or a scratch behind the ears. (Don't tell anyone, but I snuck a kiss with one of the volunteers the other day!!!) Since I'm used to being on my own, walking on a leash is completely new to me and I'm not sure if the thing around my neck is a toy or what....anyway, that's me....I'm looking forward to meeting you!!!
