D0284's Info...

I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

D0284's Story...
I am one of five puppies surrendered to the shelter as part of an unwanted litter. I'm about 8 weeks old (DOB 8/7/08). My mother is a springer spaniel/blue heeler mix and my father is thought to be a lab mix. I've been socialized with kids and other dogs & cats and I'd like a responsible owner who will get me out to meet lots of new people and animals! As part of a commitment to reducing pet overpopulation, I will be adopted out on a neuter contract which includes a deposit that will be refunded when you provide proof that I have been altered, which MUST be done by the time I'm 6 months old!! If you are interested in providing a loving responsible forever home and you have the time to properly train, socialize and love a loveable little boy like me, please contact the shelter and don't forget to include my ID number! If you can't honor the neuter contract and have me altered and keep me up to date on my shots, please don't adopt me!!

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ALTERED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ADOPTION OR BY SIX MONTHS OF AGE!!!

Act quickly to adopt D0284. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

D0284, a Ladysmith Springer Spaniel/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Springer Spaniel/Labrador Retriever for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Springer Spaniel/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Springer Spaniel/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Springer Spaniel/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
