Sheldon's Story...
Sheldon is a quirky yet adorably loving 1.5-year-old neutered white and grey male shorthair. He is fully vaccinated for both distemper and rabies. He does well around other cats and dogs. He loves to snuggle and be pet and loves any attention you can give him. He loves to play and explore. When he was a kitten he fractured the head of his femur and after going through surgery and physical therapy completely recovered, however, it seems he was a bit traumatized at the vet after the whole situation. As such he may be a difficult patient in the future when going to the vet and could possibly need sedation or benefit from a vet that makes housecalls. This may not be the case every time but there has been an occasion in the past where he did have to be sedated to be completely examined. As such, Sheldon will most likely do best in a home with an experienced cat owner. Again, he is an AMAZING guy and so loving, he just gets anxious when he is away from home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheldon, a Cherry Hill Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cherry Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cherry Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cherry Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cherry Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cherry Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
