J. Crew, sign her up! Our 14 yr old CALI GIRL was out enjoying the snow today and catching snow flakes! Cali came to us from BARCS Animal Shelter where her owners took her when they could no longer care for her. Cali was never spayed and has multiple mammary tumors. She visited the vet yesterday for a pre-surgical exam and bloodwork (results back Monday).

Cali touched a lot of hearts during her short stay at BARCS and came with some sponsorships which will go towards her spay/tumor removal surgery - tentatively scheduled for January 25. Cali would LOVE to recover in a foster home - if anyone is interested in fostering this lovely little old lady please fill out our foster care application at www.companimals.org. Cali will also be looking for a fur-ever home once she has healed :)

About CompAnimals Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

Our Adoption Process...

Please visit www.CompAnimal.org for more information about the adoption process and our fees. Our application is online, and relatively quick and painless to fill out.
We are a small all volunteer organization. Your e-mail wiil typically receive a quicker response than your phone call.
